Numbers 28:16-18: And in the fourteenth day of the
first month is the
passover of the LORD. And in the
fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread
be eaten. In the first day shall be an holy convocation; ye shall do no
manner of servile work therein
Numbers 28:25: And on the seventh day ye shall have
an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.
Leviticus 23:23-24: And the LORD spake unto Moses,
saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in
the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing
of trumpets, an holy convocation.
Numbers 29:1: And in the seventh month, on the first
day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile
work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.
Leviticus 23:27-32: Also on the tenth day of this
seventh month there shall be a day of
atonement: it shall
be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer
an offering made by fire unto the LORD. And ye shall do no work in that same
day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the
LORD your God. For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that
same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. And whatsoever soul it
be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from
among his people. Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for
ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. It shall be unto you
a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the
month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
Romans 5:11: And not only so, but we also joy in God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the
atonement.
Numbers 29:12: And on the fifteenth day of the
seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile
work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days
Numbers 29:35: On the eighth day ye shall have a
solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein
Colossians 2:16-17: Let no man therefore judge you
in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of
the
sabbath days: Which are a
shadow of things to
come; but the body is of Christ.
Galatians 4:9-11: But now, after that ye have known
God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the
weak and
beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Ye observe
days, and months, and times, and years. I am
afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
Hebrews 8:7-8: For if that first covenant had been
faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding
fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I
will make a new covenant
